VoIP

Zur Kommunikation wurde bisher noch nicht viel entschieden, nur soviel: Es wird eine standardmäßige Auswahl an Dialogmöglichkeiten mit NPCs geben (ähnlich wie in Freelancer). Über eine Peer-to-Peer (P2P) Verbindung zwischen Spielern wird noch nachgedacht.

It will be similar to WC / Privateer / Freelancer with some standard (and some context sentive) comms to NPCs that you can select from a list. We'll probably let friends talk P2P and it's undecided on whether this will also be enabled for foes (need to make sure people aren't abusive)

Chris Roberts denkt auch über Kurzstreckenfunk nach, aber es gibt noch ein paar Dinge wie etwa die Moderation zu klären.

There will be ship to ship communications. I would like VOIP but don't want to promise anything until we can work on that part - you'll certainly be able to chat and send canned messages but it would be nice to broadcast VOIP In a short range (but there are moderator issues etc that need to be worked out)
